Tenant Improvements
City of Anaheim, City Hall West Renovation - Anaheim, California
Programming, space planning, furniture selection, construction documents, and construction contract administration services were provided for the renovation of this 11-story, 220,000 SF City office building. RBA is the architect of record for the original tenant improvement construction when the building was first developed in the early 1990s. Renovation work included all new interior finishes, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and elevator modernization. Relocation and expansion of several City departments within the building was also completed. Work was completed in ten phases over a 17-month period to accommodate ongoing operations. Project has been awarded USGBC LEED Gold Certification.
City of Anaheim, East Hills Library and Police Station - Anaheim, California
Programming, space planning, interior design, construction documents, and construction contract administration services for a new 10,274 SF branch library constructed on the ground floor of a former medical building in Anaheim Hills, CA. Interior spaces were developed to serve the needs of several age groups ranging from pre-school age to adults. Relocation of existing police facilities to other floors within the building provided ground floor space for the library.
Columbia Pictures - Burbank, California
Numerous interior design projects totaling over 75,000 square feet including corporate headquarters for Columbia Picture Television. Comprehensive work included interior design, space planning, design, fabrication and installation of interior architectural components and fixtures and custom design, purchase and installation of furniture and office systems.
Cookie Lee, Inc., Corporate Headquarters - Tustin, California
Programming, space planning, tenant improvements, and interior design for a 79,756 SF one-story concrete tilt-up building in Tustin, CA. The Project includes corporate offices, warehouse facilities, sales consultant showroom and related areas, jewelry design and photo studio; and a 150-person training facility.
Curl Fitness - Newport Beach, California
RBA was commissioned by Davenport Partners for interior design services for a health club, fitness and juice bar facility for their new tenant Curl Fitness. The start up company occupies approximately 13,629 square feet of fist and second floor area of a building in the Lido Marina Village. The interior plan was designed to accommodate the various needs and requirements for a health and fitness center including a private personal training studio, spin room, aerobics area and a cafe that serves healthy fresh foods and nutritional shakes. Use of sustainable design features are found throughout the facility, including solar powered restroom fixtures, recycled content finishes and low VOC paints.
Ingram Micro, Inc., Corporate Headquarters - Santa Ana, California
Programming, space planning, tenant improvements and interior design for a 235,000 SF office and distribution facility in the Pacific Center project, Santa Ana, CA. Improvements include a 200-seat cafeteria, telemarketing center, mainframe computer center and dedicated video conference facility. This project was completed with a cost of 5.5 million.
1600 Building Expansion
Site planning, architectural and interior design for a 73,500 SF two-story expansion of the existing corporate headquarters office building in Santa Ana, CA. Work also included a 340-car parking lot expansion, building service areas and a 600 seat dining center. Project was completed with a cost of 7.5 million
Los Angeles County Office of Education Head Start Program Office - Santa Fe Springs, California
Programming, space planning tenant improvements, and interior design for a 69,923 SF administrative office and training facility on two floors of a multi-story building in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Improvements included a stand-alone training facility for after hours use in support of parenting programs, computer training, and other Head Start programs. A 5,000 SF warehouse area was also included.
City of Ontario, City Hall Annex - Ontario, California
RBA provided complete architectural and interior design services for renovation of two multi-story, 45,500 SF masonry buildings built in 1964 and 1984. Work included seismic reinforcement, new tenant improvements, new mechanical and electrical systems, new furniture, and site hardscape and landscape. The design included emergency support services for a future emergency operations center.
City of Ontario, City Hall Renovation and Expansion - Ontario, California
Programming, architectural design, space planning, interior design, construction documents, and construction contract administration for this total renovation of the 55,000 SF multi-story Ontario City Hall. Work included all new interior improvements, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems; new curtain walls and glazing, expanded main entry and new entry theme structure, new hardscape and landscaping. The Project has been awarded USGBC LEED Gold Certification.

Work included seismic reinforcement, new tenant improvements, new mechanical and electrical systems, new furniture, and expanded main entrance, new roof, new exterior finishes, and entry hardscape and landscape.

RBA prepared programming, space planning and the development of the interior design standards for the 3 separate tenant improvement expansion projects for the law firm totaling 8,782 square feet at the Atrium building in Irvine, Ca. The projects included conference rooms, private offices, built in workstations, work and break rooms.
