Shelly DiLauro

Shelly J. DiLauro's 30-plus year professional career includes interior design projects for public and private clients. She has lead the interior design efforts for Robert Borders & Associates for many years and recently became president of the company.

After receiving her degree in interior design from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in 1984, Ms. DiLauro went on to receive her national certification through the NCIDQ and state certification through CCIDC. In recent years, her project focus has shifted to include sustainable design and she has obtained LEED Accredited Professional ID + C status through USGBC.

In her free time she enjoys photography and traveling, however many weekends are spent in the local and distant ice rinks supporting her goalie son's hockey team. Her daughter is studying Kinesiology in college with the goal of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Shelly and her husband are very family oriented and enjoy the time they can all spend together.
Ron Lilley

Ronald D. Lilley joined Robert Borders & Associates in 1983. During his tenure with the firm, Ron has been responsible for the planning and overall coordination of various commercial projects, including extensive remodel and refurbishment experience.

After receiving his degree in Environmental Design from the University of Washington, Ron went to work for a local mechanical engineering firm as a HVAC Designer and Project Manager working with a wide range of building types including restaurants, commercial and industrial buildings, new and remodel projects.

As Sr. Project/CADD Manager, Ron is responsible for overseeing the operation of the CADD system and projects ranging from low-rise commercial buildings to environmentally sensitive buildings. Ron is well versed in CA Title 24 and ADA disabled access requirements and provides support for technical issues.

Away from the office, Ron enjoys travel, sports and photography.
Loren Della Marna

Loren has over 28 years of experience in the architecture and design industry with projects ranging from small to large scale commercial, restaurant, retail, industrial, recreational, and office project types.

Loren joined Robert Borders & Associates in 2008 as Project Architect and was promoted to Principal in 2009. He has been responsible for the design and coordination of various commercial, recreational and municipal projects. He is also involved in business development, strategic planning and operational activities for the firm.

Loren received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California State Polytechnic University Pomona, California and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. He is a California licensed Architect, LEED Accredited Professional and licensed General Contractor.

He enjoys road biking, snow and body boarding with his wife and daughter.
