Project Playhouse, HomeAid Orange County Chapter - Orange County, California
An annual key fundraiser event that is performed by Home Aid and its chapters to benefit the organization's mission - building dignified housing where homeless families and individuals can rebuild their lives. Project Playhouse brings together members of a local building industry community to build and donate highly creative, unique 8-feet by 10-feet by 10-feet children's playhouses for public viewing and subsequent live auction. While there is great variety in the theme and look of the playhouses, they all demonstrate the imagination of the top builders who build them, the highest standard of craftsmanship, the childhood spirit of exploration, and "state-of-the-art" high-tech features.
