Programming, space planning, tenant improvements, and interior design for a 220,000 SF eleven-story shell office building for various departments in the City of Anaheim. A divisible multi-purpose Conference Center, the City Data Processing Center, Traffic Management Center and other office uses are provided for in this building. This project was completed in 1992 with a cost of 5.5 million.

Programming, space planning, furniture selection, construction documents, and construction contract administration services were provided for the renovation of this 11-story, 220,000 SF City office building. RBA is the architect of record for the original tenant improvement construction when the building was first developed in the early 1990s. Renovation work included all new interior finishes, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and elevator modernization. Relocation and expansion of several City departments within the building was also completed. Work was completed in ten phases over a 17-month period to accommodate ongoing operations. Project has been awarded USGBC LEED Gold Certification.

Programming, space planning, interior design, construction drawings, and contract administration services for a new 10,274 SF branch library constructed on the ground floor of a former medical building in Anaheim Hills, CA. Interior spaces were developed to serve the needs of several age groups ranging from pre-school age to adults. Relocation of existing police facilities to other floors within the building provided ground floor space for the library.

Robert Borders & Associates provided needs assessment, programming, schematic design and cost development services for an expansion of the Anaheim Police Main Station headquarters complex in Anaheim, CA. A design for a new 90,000 SF four story police headquarters building with adjacent 440 space parking structure was developed along with special support areas including weapons training range, forensics garage, communications shop, etc. Interior renovations to the existing Main Station and modifications to the jail facilities were also included.

Programming, space planning, interior design, construction documents and contract administration were provided for this jail cell & administration office remodel at Anaheim's Police Headquarters. The scope of work also included a new enclosed property storage yard which houses walk-in freezers for evidence storage.

A new ground-up facility for the Anaheim Police Department. RBA provided programming, conceptual design, construction drawings, and construction contract administration for this new 23,064 SF helicopter air support facility constructed at Fullerton Airport, Fullerton, CA. Approximately 11,020 SF of aircraft storage hangar space, 7,955 SF of aircraft maintenance space, and 4,089 SF of office and support space are provided. Additional features include two 10,000-gallon above ground fuel tanks with redundant aircraft fueling systems, emergency generator, and 5-ton capacity bridge crane.

Tenant improvement architectural services for the design of this 2,800 SF traffic management center. Included is a high tech traffic management control center console and video display wall. Private offices, workstations, a conference/demonstration room, a computer room, and a repair shop complete the City's traffic control nerve center.

Space planning, interior design, construction documentation and construction administration for this project on the 3rd Floor of Anaheim City Hall West. Approximately 4,000 SF of tenant improvements were developed to house a 24-hour, 911 emergency dispatch communications center serving North Orange County cities. The facilities include UPS supported computer and communication equipment rooms, a nine-station dispatch center and various support areas.

Architectural, interior design and construction contract administration services were provided for the replacement of the Whitten Community Center at McFadden Park. Work included a new 9,300 SF building housing recreation spaces for after school programs, community uses and the City's Human Services offices. New parking and other site amenities were also included.
